What does Missions/Outreach mean at East Parkway Church?
Taking the good news of the gospel of Christ to those who don’t know Him, locally and globally. We also participate in meeting physical and spiritual needs around the world in the name of Christ.

How can I get involved?
Get to know… how God is at work around the world through newsletter updates available in the foyer upstairs, and at our annual Missions’ Conference held each January.
Give… commit your resources to our missionaries throughout the year as part of the “Giving Beyond” program that coincides with our Missions’ Conference.
Go… get involved in missions yourself; share the gospel; consider short-term or longer periods as God leads. Talk with some of the many among us who have already gone to various mission fields to get ideas.
Go to God… remember to pray for our missions and missionaries.
Please pray effectively for our missionaries…
- Sunday: Their personal walk with God
- Monday: Their physical & emotional life (i.e. loneliness and depression)
- Tuesday: Their families
- Wednesday: Their ability to communicate in the language of the country
- Thursday: Their ministry effectiveness (i.e. teaching, preaching, etc.)
- Friday: Their relationships with team members
- Saturday: Their country of service – national and local leaders
